The Network of Azerbaijani Canadians will host the first traditional food festival in Ottawa. Azerbaijan, the Pearl of the Caucasus is a land where eastern colours combine magnificently with western progress. This massive festival brings the best of Caucasian Azerbaijan food, music, traditional dance, and more together for a harmonious celebration of cuisine and culture. Azerbaijan’s Lankaran city has been added to the United Nations Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization Creative Cities Network list based on the gastronomy category in 2021. Lankaran became the capital of cuisine culture of the world!

The World Cuisine Capital will operate in Lankaran, Azerbaijan for four years! Azerbaijan cuisine hides more gems than you can expect, and this festival is also a good place for vegetarians to visit. Azerbaijan is in the middle of Eastern Europe and Western Asia.
