Celebrating Multiculturalism at World Skills

World Skills Employment Centre invites staff, clients, partners, volunteers, and community members to celebrate Canadian Multiculturalism Day through a week-long cultural showcase highlighting the many countries, cultures, and traditions represented within our organization.

Throughout the week, visitors will have the opportunity to explore displays created by staff featuring flags, cultural facts, traditions, foods, languages, and personal stories from around the world. The initiative celebrates the diversity that strengthens our workplace and reflects the experiences of the newcomers we serve.

The celebration culminates in an open-house event on Friday, June 26, 2026, where participants can learn about different cultures, connect with others, and recognize the important role diversity plays in building a welcoming and inclusive Ottawa.
