The workshop on integrating newcomers in Canada seeks to provide participants with the tools they need to successfully integrate in their new adopted country. This interactive program will focus on specific challenges faced by newcomers, especially women and single mothers, as well as explore resources and strategies available for overcoming these obstacles.

Important points to address:

1. Intercultural glossary: familiarization with Canadian terms, expressions and cultural norms essential for effective communication and successful integration.

2. Integration in Canada: understanding Canadian institutions, public services, healthcare systems, education and the Canadian job market.

3. Integration challenges, particularly for women and single mothers: identification and discussion of the specific obstacles faced by women and single mothers, such as access to employment, social support and childcare.

4. Testimonials of successful integration: sharing the inspiring experiences of newcomers who have overcome the challenges of integration and succeeded in Canada, thus offering insights and practical advice.

This workshop seeks to create an inclusive and collaborative space where participants can exchange ideas, ask questions and find mutual support in their journey to integrate in Canada.
